What is a sandwich?
I thought I should define what a sandwich is because I’ve included recipes without the title of “sandwich”. According to Merriam Webster, a sandwich is defined as “two or more slices of bread or roll having a filling in between”.
So technically a burger and a Bahn Mi is a sandwich. But, I also believe (quite strongly) that wraps and gyros should also fall under this category. They are eaten the same way as a traditional sandwich, should have the same messy experience due to juicy fillings, and is usually made as a quick lunch, just like a sandwich!
