This meal plan features 5 days of vegetarian BBQ recipes. From vegan hot dogs to burgers and pizza, you’ll definitely enjoy the sunshine while grilling this week.

It’s BBQ Season, ya’ll! Know what that means? It’s time to pull out that dusty grill and put it to good use…while you still can! Summer is nearly over, so take advantage of the heat and grill your meals this week!
BBQ season doesn’t necessarily mean tons of BBQ sauce. In fact, only one recipe this week contains BBQ sauce. It’s all about grilling outdoors for this week’s meal plan, so fire up that grill and keep scrolling to see what’s on the menu this week!
(Don’t have a grill? No problem – all of these recipes can be made in a grill pan on the stove or in the oven!)
If grilling isn’t for you, browse through our other weekly vegetarian meal plans and we are certain you’ll find something you’ll enjoy! As always, we’ve included our printable shopping list for your convenience.

These Carrot Hot Dogs are perfect for grilling throughout the summer. Though the carrots have to be prepped and boiled, grilling them will char the outsides and accentuate the flavors even more. These carrot hot dogs are vegan but are just as flavorful as pork hot dogs because of the sweet smoky marinade. I was skeptical about these at first too, but trust me, you have to try them for yourself! If you tried these blindfolded, you would have no idea that they are made out of carrots!
MAKE AHEAD TIP: Prep and boil the carrots in advance, you just have to grill them when you’re ready to eat.
Our Halloumi burgers are an amazing summer burger that you just have to try! Halloumi cheese can be grilled without melting everywhere, making it the perfect vegetarian burger option. This recipe requires pan fried tomatoes, but you can just still them on the grill with the halloumi. These burgers will make the best vegetarian burgers at all of your BBQ gatherings this summer!
STORAGE TIP: If you find yourself with tons of extra grilled halloumi, you can keep it in an air tight container in the fridge for 2 days.
Upgrade your boring grilled cheese with this Roasted Vegetable Grilled Cheese. Flavorful roasted (or grilled) veggies make this grilled cheese so unique. Filled with pepper, onion, and mushrooms, this grilled cheese will be the most tasty sandwich you’ve had all summer. We make this grilled cheese with gouda and we serve it with “toasty sauce,” which is a delicious mix of mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce that compliments all the flavors. This sandwich can be made in the oven or on the grill, but we definitely suggest taking advantage of the BBQ for the remainder of the summer!
MEAL PREP TIP: Grill extra veggies and assemble a sandwich when needed throughout the week.
Enjoy our Grilled Romaine Salad on this bright and sunny Thursday. Grilling the lettuce gives it a nice crunch on the outside and allows the inside to remain soft, giving everything a very interesting texture. The lemon dressing compliments the lettuce so well. This salad is totally customizable and you can add your favorite salad fixings if desired. I know this doesn’t sound like the most appealing way to prepare your salad, but it will soon become your favorite summer salad!
MAKE AHEAD TIP: Prep all of the ingredients and the dressing and store in the fridge until you are ready to grill the lettuce.
This Veggie Pizza will become a staple on your Pizza Friday! We encourage you to try to get outside and grill the pizza, or at the very least grill the delicious veggies topping the pizza. We’re topping this pizza with all the classic veggies, such as eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper, spinach, and red onion, but you can add your faves instead. This recipe also includes homemade pizza dough, but you can buy one if you want. We hope you enjoy grilling your pizza to change things up a bit!
MEAL PREP TIP: Make an extra pizza if you want leftovers throughout the weekend.
Our Watermelon and Pienapple Grilled Fruit Skewers are a delicious snack or dessert to enjoy throughout the week and are the perfec addition to your BBQ gathering. The simple yogurt sauce pairs with the fruit so well. The honey-lime glaze put overtop the fruit when grilling them will help caramelize it and prepare for the tasty yogurt sauce.
