South America

I first traveled to South America while sailing with Semester at Sea in the fall of 2014. After 12 days of nothing but open water from Cape Town, South Africa, we were greeted with the wonderful, colorful Buenos Aires. We were timid in Argentina, sticking close to the capital, but by the time we reached Rio, Brazil, we’d picked up some of that South American confidence and charisma, and were ready to explore. I returned to South America in the summer of 2014, this time taking on much of Peru and an insy piece of Bolivia. South America is wild, musical, colorful, and free.
