What is veganuary?

Veganuary is a term used to describe eating vegan for the month of January. It was coined by the non-profit Veganuary which “encourages people worldwide to try vegan for January and beyond.

It’s along the same vein as dry January and even no-shave November. But, just because it’s named after an entire month doesn’t mean you *have* to be vegan for the entire month if that’s not your thing.

I look at it as more of an opportunity to try to eat less animal products while also exploring new and fun recipes (similar to Meatless Mondays!)
