We have a small team behind Live Eat Learn who help us bring you fresh vegetarian recipes every week–from social media to assisting in writing and research!

Sarah
founder
I’m Sarah Bond, the vegetarian food blogger behind Live Eat Learn. As the site’s recipe developer, I blend my Penn State degrees in Human Nutrition (B.S.) and Sensory Science (M.S.) with a passion for all things food. When I’m not cooking, you’ll find me hiking or skiing in Denver with my pup, Rhubarb. Read more about Sarah Bond here →

George
writer
Who knew food blogging would become a family business? A certified personal trainer with a passion for nutrition, George enjoys researching and writing many helpful articles on Live Eat Learn, from common cooking conversions to ingredient variety guides. When he’s not exploring new article ideas, he’s hitting the gym or finding a new way to cook up cauliflower.

MIKA
writer
Mika is a writer for Live Eat Learn. She is a California native who runs her food blog, Joy To The Food, with her husband. She’s always inspired by new food and if she’s not creating in the kitchen or writing, she can be found exploring a new coffee shop or restaurant with her pups.

Mitch & Justine
writers and photographers
Mitch and Justine are the dynamic duo behind many of our “how to” articles, teaching you fundamentals of vegetarian cooking. Both former registered nurses from Canada, they now live abroad and run their food blog Broke Bank Vegan. When they’re not in the kitchen, you can catch them traveling, scuba diving, and (most importantly) eating.

Rhubarb
real good girl
Rhubarb is Sarah’s chief shoot assistant and certified crumb catcher. When she’s not catching frisbees and napping, she’s taste-testing our dog recipes. Find her over on Bone Appétreat, our dog food blog dedicated to all things dog recipes, treats, and nutrition.
ALFONSO
photographer
Alfonso is our Baltimore-based photographer and resident plant-based pro. A longtime vegan with a sharp eye for styling, he not only shoots the mouthwatering step-by-step photos you see in our recipes, he also tests them as he goes. If it looks good and works perfectly, chances are Alfonso had a hand (and a fork) in it.
Cassie
social media assistant
Cassie keeps things running smoothly across the social sphere from her home base in the UK. She’s the one posting your favorite reels, replying to comments, and making sure our community feels like family. She’s basically the reason you saw that post you loved at just the right time.
You
the reason we do it all
Seriously, we wouldn’t be here without our readers. Whether you’re trying chickpeas for the first time or you’ve been plant-powered for years, your comments, shares, and curiosity keep us inspired. Thanks for being here, for cooking with us, and for letting us be part of your vegetarian journey.
