Cabbage Recipes

One cup of green cabbage (3 oz) provides 50% RDA of vitamin C, a healthy portion of most other vitamins and minerals, and more fiber than a slice of wheat bread all for about 20 calories. 

There are numerous types of cabbage (like Bok Choy, Napa, and Savoy) and they come in a variety of colors and shapes offering the opportunity for some truly diverse cabbage recipes. The most commonly used cabbage is green which should have compact leaves and the head should feel heavy for its size. Refrigerate for up to 7 days before trying in one of the cabbage recipes here.
