For Australian residents, a perfect seasoning is Masterfoods Cajun Spice blend which is available in most supermarkets.
I used it for my first attempt at this recipe and the whole family loved it.
I made these in my Ninja Max air fryer and seasoned then with cinnamon and sugar. Yum!
I made this with some garlic salt. Very tasty! Easy recipe and snack.
Umm YUMM!
I used a little dry ranch powder, thyme, turmeric and just a few red pepper flakes. Tiniest little bit of olive oil, just to coat lightly and cooked them for just a little bit longer as I wanted to make extra crunch. Probably about 12 minutes, shaking the rack at around six minutes.
Best. TV. Snack. Ever!!😁
Followed the instructions and they turned out hard as rocks.
I bought a bag of dry garbanzo beans. Do I cook them in my air fryer oven the same way?
You’ll need to boil them first! Here’s our guide on cooking dry chickpeas, you can air fry them after they’ve been boiled.
Thanks for the fun recipe and I truly enjoy your page. Question about storage – assuming there are leftovers (hah) – how would you store these to ensure they stay crispy? Would I have to throw them back in the air fryer to re-crisp? Thank you! 🙂
I store them in either a paper bag or in a bowl that I line with paper towels (you’ll still probably need to toss them in the air fryer to re-crispy though!)
Literally 5 minutes or less to prep and 10 minutes in the air fryer. I used the Everything season salt from Trader Joes. A can’t miss. Great snacks.
One of my favorite most snacks! Did buffalo ranch flavor this time! Thanks Sarah!
Oh my gosh yum!! Enjoy! 😀
I make extra because they are SO good for that quick salty snack. I am going to try with the Ranch seasoning next. Thanks for a great recipe!
