Easy vegetarian recipes, one ingredient at a time
Ginger adds flavorful zing to a variety of dishes. Look for ginger with shiny, taut skin that is thin (not thick and fibrous). You should be able to easily nick the skin with your nail. If you use ginger 2-3 times a week, store it in a resealable bag in the refrigerator. If you use it only occasionally, store it in the freezer and grate it when needed.
