I’m so excited to share the top 25 new recipes from 2025 on Live Eat Learn! This year’s list includes everything from our wildly popular dump & bake series to dishes that celebrate chickpeas (so many chickpeas) — and honestly, some of my favorite recipes I’ve ever published.

A collage of various colorful dishes surrounds the text Top Recipes 2025: 25 Best Recipes! in bold black and script fonts.

Wow…what a year.

This January marks 11 years of Live Eat Learn, which feels both impossible and incredibly grounding at the same time. The food blogging world has changed a lot over the past decade, but somehow, I love this work just as much as I did in year one (maybe even more).

Finding our rhythm with video (and finding you)

One of the biggest shifts this year was finally finding our groove with video content.

After a lot of experimenting, 2025 was the year things really clicked. Less polished, more real, more “this is actually how I cook in my kitchen.” And that authenticity led to something pretty amazing: we grew to over 700,000 friends on Instagram and are now closing in on one million on Facebook (!!).

Connecting with you in real time, seeing your recreations, answering questions, and watching recipes take off across platforms has been one of the most energizing parts of this year. It feels less like “posting content” and more like cooking alongside a huge, very hungry community.

The year of chickpeas (again… and proudly)

Let’s not pretend otherwise: 2025 was extremely chickpea-forward.

From Lemon Pepper Chickpeas (which fully earned its #1 spot) to Chickpea Fajitas, Teriyaki Chickpeas, Chickpea Tortilla Soup, White Chickpea Chili, Chickpea Pinwheels, and freezer-friendly wraps, this year proved that one humble can can be dinner, lunch, dessert…literally anything.

A cookbook that keeps finding new kitchens

One of the most surreal moments of the year was ordering the third printing of my cookbook, doubling the order to 2,000 copies sitting in our garage in Denver, ready to be shipped to you!

Knowing that Eat! keeps finding its way into new homes, getting dog-eared, splattered, and cooked from, still feels unreal. Creating something tangible after so many years online has been incredibly meaningful. Grab a copy here!

Building deeper community

This year also brought the launch of our membership option, an ad-free, calmer way to browse recipes with exclusive resources for those of you who cook from Live Eat Learn week after week. I know ads can be…a lot. Creating a quieter space for our most dedicated readers felt like a natural next step. Try it out here!

Looking ahead

As we head toward 2026, we’re also preparing for our biggest adventure yet — welcoming our first baby early next year. 🥹 The second half of this year was spent recipe-testing ahead, freezing meals, and making sure you’re stocked with delicious vegetarian dinners while I’m on maternity leave. I’m so grateful for the team helping make that possible.

Best New Recipes of 2025

These are the top 25 new recipes of the year, and truly some of my all-time favorites. They represent what Live Eat Learn looks like right now: practical, cozy, protein-forward, and very chickpea-enthusiastic.

Thank you for cooking along with me, for being here year after year, and for being part of this growing community

Happy eating 💛
Sarah
