Asparagus Recipes

Eight medium asparagus spears only contain 25 calories and provide more protein than an equal caloric intake of low-fat milk or whole eggs! 

Choose odorless stalks with dry tight tips. Refrigerate these for up to 4 days by wrapping the ends in a wet paper towel and putting them in a plastic bag. You can find green, white and purple asparagus and use these in a host of great healthy asparagus recipes.
