A lively group of eleven women, radiating joy as they pose indoors with three cheerful dogs. Dressed in festive attire, its a scene straight out of February 2022, where every moment feels like a Lets Gab session filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Can we just do a photo dump for this month’s gab? Because between the colorful happenings of the month and a *very exciting* new project that’s consuming all of my brain power (a big reveal coming soon!), a photo dump seems like a happy course of action.

Starting with Valentine’s! or Galentine’s? Puppytine’s? Rhubarb was a big fan of her first Valentine’s Day, namely all the food that was dropped on the ground at our galentine’s extravaganza.

She was less of a fan when it came to dressing up for the Super Bowl.

In February 2022, a creative fan showed their loyalty by crafting a unique orange shirt originally branded for the Denver Broncos. They ingeniously used paper and tape to partially cover it with Cincinnati Bengals flair. A roll of tape, marker, and scissors lay nearbyโ€”a true Lets Gab moment in sports fashion!.

Salt Lake City

I made the airplane and ski lodges my office for a bit, hopping over the mountains of Colorado to ski around Snowbird and Alta in Utah for a bit!

Some highlights, apart from the steep mountains that made me question if I was even good at skiing, included brunch at The Dodo, tacos at Lone Star Taqueria, and all the Mediterranean food at Spitz Sugarhouse!

Rhubarb, despite being with her favorite wolfpack, was sick of me leaving her. So sick, apparently, that she developed pneumonia. So while I don’t even meal prep for myself, I meal prepped a week’s worth of her vet-prescribed bland food diet – rice and chicken. She’s doing much better now!

Let’s Rodeo

With Rhubarb on the mend, I snuck in one more short trip, this time down south to San Antonio, where the annual rodeo was in town.

Some standouts, besides having an allergy attack each day that I went to the rodeo arena, were:

  • Soaking up all the colors at Bombay Bicycle Club
  • Eating my weight in mushrooms at Cherrity Bar
  • Losing some money (and drowning my sorrows into a bowl of Flaming Hot Cheeto nachos) at Bandera Latenight Bingo
  • Walking down memory lane by spending a few hours working in Local Coffee, the coffee shop where I spent hours getting Live Eat Learn off the ground!

Signing off for now to take a much-needed nap with Rhubarb (if she’ll share the couch)! Happy spingtime friends!
