Chickpeas are an absolute staple in my home, and for good reason! They’re incredibly versatile and can fit into so many different meals. Soups, tacos, sandwiches, bowls… you name it, and it can probably include chickpeas.
And chickpeas are healthy too! Half a cup of uncooked chickpeas have more protein than a 3 oz chicken breast, more fiber than an equal weight of bran flakes, and a healthy dose of iron, potassium, folate and other vitamins and minerals.
