¼ to ½cupapricot, apple, or pear brandy60 to 120 mL
1cupcarbonated water236 mL, club soda
Instructions
Combine: In a large pitcher, stir together all ingredients except carbonated water. If you have time, set pitcher in fridge for a few hours to allow flavors to blend.
Serve: Just before serving, add carbonated water to the pitcher. Serve garnished with a cinnamon stick.
Notes
Can sub the brandy for bourbon or a fruity liquor.Optional Add-Ins: chopped plums, chopped pears, sliced oranges.For added fancy, combine a spoonful each of cinnamon and sugar. Dip the rim of your serving glasses into the sangria, then dip it in the cinnamon sugar mix before pouring in the sangria.
